Rhetorical Modes

1. I have been aware of my destiny ever since I was a little child. I knew I was destined for greatness when I had a vision that informed me that I was to become the greatest student ever. This premonition is a symbol of things to come, and I will be ready to meet it head on.

2. It seems as if people often confuse destiny with fate. Destiny is something you achieve and strive to complete, but you can fail. Fate is a certain thing that you cannot change ever, and no matter what you do with your life you are still fated to do something.

3.Destiny can best be explained I believe in terms of super heroes. Spiderman is destined to defeat the Green Goblin, Superman is destined to destined to defeat Lex Luther, and so on. Good defeating evil is a classic way to illustrate destiny in its most pure form.

4. Destiny is often given by a premonition or sign by a higher power revealing what the person must do to complete their destiny. Whether the destiny is to defeat a great evil, or die trying in order to allow someone else to, the person receiving their destiny will complete it no matter what the circumstances.

5. Destiny is not something you can feel in terms of touch or smell, but destiny can be felt in the sense that a person may feel special or feel that they are meant for something greater. It is not a tangible sense, but it can be felt in different senses.

6. Destiny is defined by "The events that will necessarily happen to a particular person or thing in the future." I am sure everyone has always wished that some power or voice from above would give them their destiny, but that does not always happen.
